The Ice Kraken Collectible Wearable Boro UV Glass Octopus Necklace / Sculpture - Made to Order

This is the Ice Kracken, made with a wonderful new glass called Ice. Hard to capture the satiny sparkle deep inside the glass. Just as hard to capture a good picture of the UV glow! This one glows in a wonderful Flamingo Pink shade. The Deep blue eyes really set off both the ice color and the glow.

These octo pendants are all made in the fire of the torch, using only traditional hand tools, no molds are used, so each one is hand formed. Approx 2.5" long, formed in the torch and properly annealed in a digital kiln for durability, this one arrives safely wrapped and attached to a hand dyed adjustable silk ribbon, ready to give or keep. Handmade glass eye chip gives him such realistic eyes, you might want to keep him on his rope, just in case! Really fun and safe to wear, for a truly dramatic look!

Stamped on the bottom with the Maker's Mark "M" while still molten. Each of these Octos are Made to Order using only the best quality Boro glass, which means it is made when you order it. So expect small differences as with any original art piece.

These are designed to look as good sitting on the shelf or in the fish tank as they look around your neck!

Most of these items are made to order so like any handmade item, there may be small differences in the actual item you receive. Particularly with boro glass, lighting really affects the colors of the glass. Eye color may vary, depending on what eye cane is available. If you have a preference for color or pupil shape, just include a quick note and I'll do my best to make it happen.
